One live propagation corm, not a potted plant.

Albo/white

Collector Form

Mature plant photographs are variety references.

Why Collectors Love It

Bold dark corrugated leaves with contrasting cream-white Albo patches.

The supplied Alocasia Chaii Albo plant reference photograph illustrates the foliage shape and collector coloration associated with this listing. Young corm-grown plants can look different from established plants as leaf shape and pigmentation develop.

Starting with a corm lets you observe rooting, sprouting, juvenile growth and the progression toward mature foliage.

  • Start at the corm stage
  • Color and leaf form vary with growth
  • One live corm per order

Reference Image Disclosure

Mature plant photos are a reference, not what arrives.

This listing includes one live Alocasia Chaii Albo corm. The grown plant shown on white is an identification reference. Corm size, outer layers, rooting and sprouting stage vary naturally.

Important Color Notice

Future leaves will not be identical to the photos.

Variegated expression and coloring are variable. The mature specimen pictured represents the form, not a guarantee of the exact pigment, distribution or shape in every future leaf.

What You Will Receive

One live Alocasia corm

One corm of the named variety, carefully prepared for shipping; may arrive dormant, rooting, or beginning to sprout. Mature plant and propagation cup are not included.

How to Start Your Corm

Warmth, gentle moisture and oxygen

Orient the growth point upward, leave it visible, and keep only the lower portion of the corm in contact with moisture.

Puddle method: shallow water, most of the corm above the surface.
LECA: reservoir below the corm, moisture wicking upward.
Perlite: lightly damp media and room for airflow.
Sphagnum: loose, barely damp moss rather than saturated moss.
Fluval Stratum: moist medium around the base, not deep burial.
Airy aroid mix: small drained pot, growth point exposed.

Environment

Keep the corm warm in a clean, airy setup with moderate to elevated humidity. As foliage appears, introduce bright indirect light.

Avoid Rot

Cold, waterlogged or dense media can increase decay risk. Firm dormant corms can take different amounts of time to sprout.

Care After Sprouting

Allow the new roots to establish and move gradually to a small pot with a well-drained aroid mix. Avoid abrupt changes and harsh direct sun.

What arrives: One live Alocasia corm unless the individual listing clearly states otherwise. Mature plant photos show the plant’s potential appearance as it grows.
What exactly am I buying?
A corm is the starter stage of the plant, not a mature plant. You receive the live corm described in the listing. Because these are living plants, corm size, sprouting speed, growth pattern, and mature appearance can naturally vary.
Why buy from AlocasiaCorms.com?
The website is new, but the seller experience behind it is established. We have been selling to plant collectors for 18 months, with a 4.9 out of 5 prior marketplace rating, 700+ customer reviews, and 7,000+ prior marketplace sales.
How is my corm packed?
Corms are carefully prepared and packed for shipment with the goal of protecting the live plant material while it travels to you.
What happens after it arrives?
Growing guidance is included so you have a clear starting point for sprouting and caring for your corm. You are not left guessing what to do next.
What about the mature plant photo?
For corm listings, mature leaf photos are there to show the variety and its potential appearance. The item being shipped is the corm described in the listing, not the mature plant shown for reference.
Can I ask a question before ordering?
Absolutely. Email alocasiacorms@gmail.com. We would rather answer a question before you order than have you purchase without feeling confident.
