Neon Corm Prop Cups

A clean, colorful home for your next corm-growing project. These custom propagation cups pair a transparent outer reservoir with a removable neon inner cup, a white wick and a clear snap-on dome. Choose the color that fits your setup, or build a multi-color propagation station with one of our discounted packs.

Designed for growers who like to check their water reservoir without lifting the inner cup, the transparent outer section makes water levels easier to see. The inner neon insert adds a bright visual accent while separating the propagation medium from the reservoir beneath. Every unit in your selected pack is a complete cup assembly.

IMPORTANT — COMPLETE PROP CUP SET ONLY

This listing is for the number of complete propagation cup assemblies selected, not live corms or plants. No growing medium is included.

Photo and pack quantity: Some photos are illustrative arrangements and may show more or fewer complete cups than the selected pack. You will receive the exact number of complete cup assemblies in your selected pack size (1, 2, 3, 5, 10 or 20). Color options are selected separately; Rainbow Mix combinations may vary.

Approximate Cup Size

Bottom diameter: 1.3 inches
Total height with dome: 4.2 inches

Approximate measurements based on the reference cup; actual assembled dimensions may vary slightly.

What makes these cups different?

Neon inner insert

A removable inner cup in Electric Blue, Neon Green, Sunset Orange or Hot Pink adds bold color to the propagation setup.

Clear reservoir

The outer cup lets you view the water level and inspect the reservoir without opening up the growing medium.

White wick

A cotton-look braided wick runs through the inner cup so water can move toward a suitable growing medium by capillary action.

Smooth dome lid

A transparent snap-on cover sits above the growing area.

Four neon colors

Electric Blue

A bright translucent blue inner cup.

Neon Green

A vivid green inner cup.

Sunset Orange

A vibrant orange inner cup.

Hot Pink

A saturated pink inner cup.

Rainbow Mix: available on packs of 2, 3, 5, 10 and 20. This option provides a mixed-color assortment; exact combinations vary by pack size. Selecting an individual color means the cups in that pack are supplied in your chosen color.

Exactly what you receive

For each cup included in the pack you select:

  • One clear outer reservoir cup
  • One removable neon-colored inner insert
  • One white braided wicking cord
  • One clear snap-on upper dome lid

For example, a 5-pack includes five outer cups, five inner inserts, five wicks and five dome lids. A 20-pack includes twenty complete assemblies. Corms, plants, propagation substrate and decorative accessories are not included.

How to set up your prop cup

01 · Place the wick

Position the white wick through the opening in the inner cup, leaving part of it extending toward the reservoir.

02 · Prepare your medium

Add a suitable medium for your propagation method, taking care to keep it from becoming excessively saturated.

03 · Add your corm

Position your corm in the medium appropriate to its stage and keep the growing area clean.

04 · Monitor and adjust

Check the reservoir, medium and corm regularly. Adjust the dome as needed for your growing conditions.

Imagine your own colorful Alocasia propagation station: young plants growing in a perlite and Fluval Stratum mix above a clear water reservoir. This styled setup shows how the cups can be displayed once seedlings have sprouted. Display case, plants and growing media are not included.

Growing and maintenance notes

Water: A visible reservoir can make monitoring convenient, but it does not prevent overwatering. Use water levels appropriate to your medium and growing conditions, and replace stagnant water as needed.

Airflow: An enclosed environment can trap humidity and condensation. Open or remove the lid when necessary to provide fresh air, and watch closely for signs of rot or mold.

Light and placement: Follow the light and temperature needs of your actual plant or corm. Keep clear plastic containers away from excessive direct sunlight and heat.

Cleaning: Clean the cup components between propagation projects using an approach compatible with their plastic construction. Inspect the wick and replace it if it deteriorates or cannot be cleaned properly.

Expectations: This is a propagation accessory, not a guarantee that every corm will root or sprout. Results depend on the corm, environment and care.
